The Mallorca East Coast Boat tour is an excellent value for money excursion on which you will explore the Mediterranean, feel the breeze, swim from the boat and enjoy marvellous views of the coastline. This boat trip in the Sea Odyssey Mallorca has it all: fun and excitement, the opportunity to swim, and amazing views of the rugged coast. That's why it's our top pick for families staying in the east area of Mallorca.
First of all we board an ultramodern semi-submersible boat which has underwater windows that give you the opportunity to enjoy panoramic marine viewing so that you can discover the fantastic underwater world of Mallorca's East coast. We will follow the coast so you can see cliffs, sea caves, old defensive towers, beautiful beaches and hidden coves.
The boat we use in this excursion is fully equiped and on it you will find:
- Main Deck: Features a bar, entertainment area, and toilets.
- Upper Deck: A spacious solarium perfect for sunbathing and sightseeing.
- Lower Deck: Semi-submerged for underwater vision, ideal for children to spot fish.
During the route, and whenever time permits, we will make a short 10-15 minute stop for you to swim. On this boat trip you can embark at different ports along the East Coast of Mallorca and we head around the coastline where we can enjoy marvellous views of the island from out at sea.
East Coast Boat Trip. Reviews
Everyone was reserving side seats for people getting on at different stops and all these reserved seats where by the sides of the boats which is the better viewing for photos. We was told to get there 10 minutes early and the boat was even later coming in then the original time it was supposed to be there, so was waiting around a while for the boat to turn up. It was also advised that they have a big blow up slide that goes in to the sea this was not and it was a tiny slide at the back of the boat. Felt like the journey was way too long and didn’t need to be that long for what it was felt like it dragged quite a lot. It was a nice viewing experience but sitting on the boat in Porto cristo for ages not viewing anything due to other boats in the way didn’t help and made the time sitting there longer. It was also not clear where the meeting point was as we assumed we was being picked up from our hotel which the hotel staff confirmed then speaking to another member of staff told us we had to walk to the boat meeting point.
Loved it! We were a little worried after some more negative reviews, but we had a great time! We did the 1pm till about 3.30 4ish from Porto Cristo, boat stopped at the different Cala's and in a cave which was beautiful to see. We were able to get off and swim in the sea, no problem. Staff were friendly and chatty and though we didn't buy any, there were plenty of drinks available and souvenir photos and keyrings, which we did buy, but without any pressure too. Great value for €25 each!
Hi, other than being sent an email with the incorrect meeting time on it and missing the boat it was brilliant. Staff at departure were friendly and helpful and called the missed boat back ( it had just left) staff on board were friendly and fun. Inside area was comfy with good windows. Jumping in and using the slide into the sea to swim was brilliant. Well stocked cafe with snacks. Nice sites along the way. Took two teenage girls and we all really enjoyed it. Good value for money.
We enjoyed our boat trip along the coast. It was lovely to see the island from a different perspective. However, the description did say we would stop for a swim (weather permitting). We didn't get to, but we weren't told this. It would have been nice to know earlier that this wasn't going to be possible. The "glass bottom" is two windows either side at the bottom of the boat, which you can't see anything out of until the boat actually comes to a halt. It was pretty cool to watch, but at the same time we didn't stop very often so the chances to look for marine life were limited.
Excellent
The trip is awesome, worth the money. The best part is jumping to the sea from the boat. I really recommend.
Lovely trip and good to see parts of the island you can only see from the sea! Enjoyed the swim
Nice views on the tour on the boat. Only thing that could be much better is some more information along the way as not much talking from the crew and having a better understanding when did talk!
Super
