We collect you by coach and drive to Alcudia Market, one of the most popular and most interesting markets in Mallorca. There you will have free time as there are many things to do in Alcudia: stroll around the stalls, barter and buy, walk on the top of the walls, have a drink at one of the small cosy squares or just enjoy the atmosphere of Alcudia's old town from one of the street cafes.
After our visit to Alcudia Market we will take a tour on a bus, driving from Alcudia, along the Pollensa Bay to the pretty resort of Puerto Pollensa. We will be dropped at the harbour in Puerto Pollensa and will board our boat for a beautiful 25 minute boat tour, following the coastline to Formentor Beach.
At Formentor Beach we will have time to relax and swim at one of the most famous and most exclusive beaches of Mallorca, from where we have splendid views of Pollensa Bay. Then we will continue our tour, driving up from the beach through Formentor's marvellous scenic roads to the Colomer View Point. This is one of the most famous view points on Mallorca, thanks to its breathtaking views of Formentor's dramatic cliffs.
From here we will begin to make our way back down to the main roads and will pass by Pollensa Old Town and through Sa Pobla on our way back to the east coast.
Alcudia Market and Formentor Excursion. Reviews
The trip was lovely but would have asked for better organisation getting on the ferry, there was no clear guidance from the guide and people were not sure which ferry to get on
This was advertised as a full day trip to Alcudia markets followed by a boat trip to Formentor with free time at the beautiful headland beach.. We had 1.5 hours at Alcudia markets which was lovely but then only 30 minutes at Formentor beach.. this was disappointing as it was barely time to dip and dry before leaving. This was made even more disappointing by the fact we got taken to some random shop in the middle of nowhere for half an hour, that was not advertised. The time would've been much more enjoyable at Formentor beach to enjoy the clear sparkling waters on a hot day.. the rep and driver were lovely but only marking a 2 due to spending more time on the coach and only 30 minutes by the beautiful beach we had booked the trip for.
All good
We enjoyed the trip to Alcudia and Formentor Beach. We would have liked to see the Cap Formentor and the lighthouse , but unfortunatelly, the trip did not reach this point. Alcudia old town is a very nice and interesting place and the trip by boat to Formentor beach offered us amazing landscapes.
Great days excursion had by all of us. Would have been nice to have more than 1.5 hrs at Alcudia market, lots of stalls to cater for everybody The catamaran included in tbe price was relaxing from pollensa to formentor.. Just be aware that if you havent ate before you reach Formentor be prepared for extortionate food prices..18 euros for a small margarita pizza and 12 euros for a hamburger!!!
Great day out, lovely market in old town alcudia, boat ride over to formentor beach were lovely clean lagoon, next up to view point in mountains absolutely stunning views, finished off to trip to ceramic store, staff knowledge is great with information and friendly, thoroughly worth a day out thank you
It was a great full day trip to Alcudia market & old town although 1.5 hours was really not enough The boat trip from pollenca to Formenter beach was very nice and included in the price The other view stops and the visit to the ceramic shop with the liquer tasting was brilliant A very long day But Ursella the guide kept everyone informed in about 4 different languages....... The price is good for the full day if it stays the same Well organised Trip and all went smoothly
Fantastic value for money. Great tour, lots to see and Maria was super friendly and lovely.
A very enjoyable day trip to Alcudia and Formentor with our guide Chris. Only one negative comment in that the waiting time for the Main coach was longer than expected but this didn’t spoil a lovely day
This is an all day trip. If you like the views of Mallorca's rugged terrain then this is for you. The drive north is great, spoiled only by the number of hotel pick-ups at the start and finish. The coach is great with WiFi and air-conditioning. Alcudia Market isn't the biggest or best but its setting is. Love next, the catamaran trip to formentor. Good views on the left hand side or there is a sun terrace outside. Whilst the beach is great there is nothing there to do. An understaffed cafe meant queues were horrendous. The journey up to the top of the mountain to the viewing point(walking access) is spectacular. All in all it was a good day out but by the time we arrived back in resort we were exhausted. The tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful but constant commentary in different languages became boring.
