Caves of Drach Customer Reviews
Caves of Drach. Amazing tour but you don’t get long in Porto christo
Absolutely stunning tour
We really enjoyed this trip, we were picked up from our hotel and taken there. We were first into the caves and found them fascinating. We were then treated to a classical musical concert on the lake by people rowing past in boats and it was all lit up which was magical. After a short boat ride across the river we had time to look around the shops etc then back on the coach and taken to see the Pearl shop in Porto Cristo and some free time to look around the port. I would definitely recommend this trip and it was really good value for money.
The caves are absolutely stunning but far too busy which is a shame as it takes away the natural beauty. The pearl factory is a complete waste of time and really not worth the stop. The cost of this trip is very expensive for what it is and depending where you're staying, you'd be better getting a taxi or bus, buying your tickets separately for the caves then looking around Porto Cristo which is beautiful.
My daughter and I loved the excursion and particularly the visit to the Caves of Drach. It would have been nice, however, if the trip had been reversed so that less time was spent at Majorica and more time was spent in beautiful Porto Cristo.
By car it is only half an hour, but by bus It took us six hours in total to visit the cave for 1 hour. The cave itself is beautiful, but really crowded. After that we had a 40 minute stop to see a big synthetic Pearl selling shop (not a factory). I would not recommend this trip. It is also very expensive.
Awesome, very beautiful! We were 3 people and we loved the cave! We missed time to take more photos and enjoy a little more!
Beautiful caves, amazing underground lake, very nice live classical music concert. I can only say that I enjoyed the experience.
They really are spectacular. I recommend buying the tour online. Each turn has enough people, but you can enjoy the visit without problems. After a walking tour inside the cave you can access an amphitheater, where they perform a concert of classical music. Beautiful. In the end, whoever wants it can get on one of the boats and make a short trip through the underground lake. If you go to Mallorca you can not miss the caves.
