The boat excursion to the Island of Cabrera sets sail from La Colonia de San Jordi in the south of Mallorca, where we will board a comfortable and modern boat, ideal for this crossing. We will arrive at Cabrera Island about 40 minutes later. Did you know that this is actually an archipelago of 18 islands and islets? We are unique in that en route to Cabrera we will show you some of them and you can take amazing photos from the boat.
At Cabrera National Park you will have approx. 4 hours free time to enjoy the island with many things to do such as:
- To go for a swim at one of Cabrera Island's rugged and unspoilt beaches, with crystalline waters, it's an ideal place to do some snorkelling.
- Go to Cabrera National Park’s information centre to pick up a map of the island of Cabrera and enjoy walks in the National Park of Cabrera. There are different excursions offered by the National Park staff, which are optional and free. On arrival to Cabrera Island you will be given information by the National Park staff about these excursions, which include visits to: Cabrera Castle; the French POW monument; the National Park Museum and many more.
- Go to the Cabrera canteen to enjoy a drink.
In the afternoon we will take you to the amazing Blue Cave where, weather permitting, the boat can enter, and you can have a last swim inside the cave before returning to La Colonia de San Jordi.
